What I don't get is... how dumb can you get?Seriously, if I wanted to build a fake blog and pretend to be some hot girl it would take me all of 5 minutes and you could have 5000 hits per minute and not be able to poke a hole in my story. But why would you ever need to? Take a guess how much I know about say, Chase Christian from Encrypted Text? It says at the start of his articles he's a Network Engineer. That is literally all I know! I actually had to just fire up an ET and copy/paste his name into this post because I for the life of me couldn't remember it. Still read and enjoy all his posts... but knowing who he is outside of 'a guy who knows interesting things about a class I play' isn't really something I care about. The first thing I heard about the Paladin Shmaladin blog was the article here on WoW.com. I don't play a pally but have been thinking of it so I headed over to check it out. Here is my thought process:1. Hrm.. website looks like crap, someone needs to learn how to design a web page2. Hey these guides look pretty good *read read* guess I can forgive a bad web page.3. Wow, really well written, covers a lot and gives a lot of advice that usually takes people years of playing WoW to figure out. I like it.4. Nice! A keybinding and UI section! So many guides miss this stufff out!5. Man, wish there was a rogue site like this I could send some of my guildies to...648. Oh hey a pic.. not bad, she's pretty hot. Nice looks and a job playing WoW? Some people get all the luck.649. Oh well, back to work.So yes, minus a quick 'you have the best job in the world (something I'm sure so many people already are doubting) and get to look fantastic as well, I hate you!' - I'm guessing 99% of people had the same thought as me regarding her looks - who the hell cares? Maybe he/she gets off thinking about a bunch of losers drooling over her... because the only people that care about that crap are indeed complete losers.Now... the people that matter? That are worth having as readers? Yeah - they might not care in the slightest what you look like, but they sure as hell don't respect people who lie for no good reason.
