If I found out my guild leader was 7 different people, I would be very surprised and a little disappointed, because I have formed a solid friendship with my guild leader that extends beyond just the Internet. However, in any other situation, I would then also have to evaluate the performance of the guild over the period of time that I knew the guild leader, and then wonder if there may have been a reason for what was apparently a deception. What WoW Insider has done is pretty disgusting in my eyes.I don't know who Ferarro is, and I don't particularly care. The person(s) is an "Internet personality" for as long as any such "relationship" was Internet-based. Sure, a lot of lonely geek guys may be all sad that it's not a hot young female (or maybe it is), but it's just the Internet and thems the breaks. You can't believe what you read on the Internet.I discovered Paladin Schmaladin from the WoW interview, as did many others, I assume. Is it not entirely possible that the author IS female, and as a result of the increased exposure, WAS being stalked (possibly for a second time)? Such an effort as the latest blog post would have been a good attempt at trying to evade any such stalker while keeping the blog alive and helpful. If this was indeed an attempt at evading stalkers, WoW Insider did a pretty good job of destroying the attempt. The author may be left with abandoning what appeared to this non-Paladin to be a very good Paladin blog, even inspiring me to try my hand at a Paladin again, whether the author was a Blizzard "insider" or not.So, good job, WoW Insider. You've sunk to a new low.
