Maintenance extended two hours

Another maintenance day, another "surprise"-extended maintenance. According to Bornakk, they've "encountered some issues" causing them to extend maintenance on all realms by two hours. Most realms are therefore expected to be up and running by about 1:00 PM PDT.
Many realms, however, were already undergoing extended maintenance to finish some hardware upgrades. The following realms are currently expected to be playble around 2:00 PM PDT:
Aegwynn, Akama, Aman'Thul, Arathor, Azjol-Nerub, Barthilas, Blackrock, Bloodscalp, Bonechewer, Boulderfist, Bronzebeard, Caelestrasz, Chromaggus, Crushridge, Daggerspine, Darkspear, Dath'Remar, Draenor, Dragonblight, Dragonmaw, Draka, Drak'thul, Dreadmaul, Dunemaul, Eitrigg, Eldre'Thalas, Feathermoon, Firetree, Frostmane, Frostmourne, Frostwolf, Garithos, Gundrak, Gurubashi, Hakkar, Jubei'Thos, Khaz Modan, Khaz'goroth, Kil'jaeden, Kilrogg, Korgath, Kul Tiras, Malorne, Mug'thol, Muradin, Nagrand, Nathrezim, Ner'zhul, Perenolde, Proudmoore, Rexxar, Runetotem, Saurfang, Scarlet Crusade, Sen'jin, Shadow Council, Shadowsong, Silver Hand, Silvermoon, Skywall, Smolderthorn, Spirestone, Stonemaul, Stormscale, Suramar, Terenas, Thorium Brotherhood, Tichondrius, Uldum, Vek'nilash, Windrunner
Whew. In the mean time, you might want to take a look at the notes for patch 3.1.3, which goes live today, or at the new Tauren cat forms.

I cant update patch either.. it says "Tracker is not responding".

Is it really a huge surprise when maintenance is extended? It's been happening a lot lately. Why even bother complaining about it?

I updated mine around 9am Central and was able to with a small glitch. I got the same error as you so I killed the launcher and then restarted it and it downloaded very quickly. I got the EULA crap out of the way so that way when the realms FINALLY come back up, I will be good to go.

That is weird that I got the first downloader worked that I got on wow then it wanted second downloader. It said my computer is behind a firewall. UGHHHH

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't get past 10% :| Hopefully they fix this before the servers DO come up, though.

Some of the mirrors up have the full patch, downloaded it, and worked like a charm. Not like I can log into the game anyways though.

Yeah mine is "behind a firewall" when my firewall is disabled and "tracker not responding" when download stopped at 10%.

I been trying like 10 times now and still can't get past 10%. Only once I did but it made me started downloading all over again. That I can't get past 10% now. My wow friend is having same problem.

Maybe the patch is the maintenance delay.
Probably screwed something up in the code. :P

I had that problem on my Mac, I logged in with my old (non-Battle.net) login and password and the patch came right down liggity shplit. Give it a try, hopefully it works for you too.
