Patch 3.1.3 download failing for many users

Blizzard knows about it - it is apparently an issue with their trackers, like the error messages say. There are, however, some patch mirrors they recommend, at least for Windows users, if you want to get patched up in a hurry. Of course, patching now isn't much use, since the servers won't be up for a little while, but it does give you something to do. I haven't seen any Mac mirrors floating around yet, although I'd bet that the trackers will be fixed before the servers are up.

I saw this ealier today, but it eventually worked itself out and was able to complete. Now, just need the realm to be back up :)

If you leave it at the 10% state it'll start up on its own when the tracker is available. I kept starting and stopping it and got sick of it and left it sitting and after about 20 mins I looked over and it was done.

I was having this problem, too. It worked after a few tries, though. Just be persistent, and it will go through.

Got my patch installed, now to stare at the Realm Selection for another hour :(

I had the same problem when I tried to download the patch for the first time but then I closed loader, opened again and everything was fine.

I tried to start the DL before I went to work, and got the "Tracker not Responding" issue. It then said I had to repair/reinstall WoW...
When I tried to run the repair, I got an error that it couldn't download the repair information, so after that I figured it was on Blizzard's end.
I started the download again and crossed my fingers that it continued while I was at work.

Mine kept telling me it was my firewall's fault after it couldn't reach the tracker. So I fiddled with the firewall for a while, got sick of that and rebooted, and it then took 3 minutes to download. Low tech solution or good timing, or both.

I didn't experience any problems with this patch. The patch downloaded for me in 2 min and 30 something seconds and I'm on a Mac. But patch 3.1 wow that took forever for me.

Mine froze at 10% so I just said screw it and got a patch link from WoW Wiki. I won't post the link of course (to keep to the rules) but on days when it is hard to get it from the torrent, it is a good thing to have options

My computer hasn't been working right lately, so I thought the download fail was on my end. Glad there isn't something else I need to fix lol

I don't know about you, but I'm spending my extended maintenance time imagining how much more awesome Star Wars: The Old Republic is gonna be.
Crazymarc Jun 2nd 2009 3:13PM
Yes! I'm so excited for this game!

As someone who was there in the first place, Star Wars stopped being cool in 1980.

How about next time you post about something like this, you post it when its still relevant. This has been fixed for hours.
dillonwelch Jun 2nd 2009 3:12PM
Not for me.
Helore Jun 2nd 2009 3:12PM
No it has not. I am still receiving this error. Lower your E-peen.
Drasek Jun 2nd 2009 3:15PM
Not true. The issue has NOT been resolved.
Quidamtyra Jun 2nd 2009 3:27PM
Fixed for you does not mean fixed for everyone else.
