Ensidia gets world first 25-man Algalon kill

Ensidia got the world-first kill of 10-man Algalon a bit over two weeks ago. They say the 25-man version is "not an easy fight," "highly gear dependent," and "a significant difficulty increase over the 10 man version." Apparently last week they got him to 4%, only 1% over the threshold to beat him (he gives up, like Mal'Ganis in Culling of Stratholme). That must be frustrating as heck.
Well, congratulations to Ensidia, once again! I wonder what they'll be doing until patch 3.2 comes out.

Blizzard. You have failed us.
Once again, you are on track to continue the use of boring, repetitive and LAZY gear modeling. It's a recolor of a recolor of a recolor. Seriously Blizz. IT'S GETTING OLD.
Not to mention, this is THE shield people should be tripping over to have due to the iLvl and the fact that it comes form the hardest boss to date...and we get this.

Granted some spots like Str and Dodge are buffed up quite nicely. But when people have the choice, is it an upgrade to The Boreal Guard? No. Between this and the looks, it is a travesty. There should never have been a question about this shields superiority over everything else available.

Let's see, Ensidia kills Malygos in two weeks, took my guild three months. Now they downed Uldaur in seven weeks, so we should have Uldaur down sometime by.... July 2010.
Bummer.

Well, yeah. But in a case of 10 man Algaon they were cheating (a sort of), because they had 25 man Uldual gear, so I dont think that 10 man Algalon is very easy too - would like to see 10manning guild who kills him...

Too bad it's just a recolor of the one off 10 man Auriaya. I was hoping the gear from the "Raid Destroyer" would be a little more unique.

Yeah, those guys (and girls, I assume) are amazing, they are showing that, indeed, the very best players in the world ( or at least the fastest at clearing new content) can come from someone other then america, japan or korea :P

Probably getting the tear feeder on farm, plus there's gotta be more than 25 people in Ensidia, so they've still gotta get all other members up to that gear level.
And if they don't reveal the gear drops for us, who will?

That 4% must have been a bitch for guys like them, followed by a week's lock-out of thinking "god no-one else get him, please god no-one else get him". As for what they'll do next I imagine there are still hard-modes and achievments fro them to get. Like the 10-man gear achievment on 10 man algalon for instance. Anyhow, grats to them.

They only have achievements left to get. Well, there's one hard mode left, and that's Yogg Saron with 0 watchers in 25 man. But apparently that's impossible at the moment...
