I got a question,In 25 man OS last night my Recount (most recent version on curse) was telling me I was doing overall about 4000 dps, give or take 50-100 at most. However, some of the other raid members using other damage counters had me at about 3200 dps overall. Which would be considered a good accurate damage counter, so I can know if I have to improve more or not??

Are you a hunter? Some people set their Recount not to combine hunter and pet together, effectively making the hunter look lower in DPS than they really are. It bugs me when they do because my pet is a part of my class, and by removing the pet dps from my total dps, I am not given a fair representation of what I am doing, but some people have told me they do that because my pet isn't "me" or some such.So that is a possibility. If you aren't a hunter, then I don't know. Maybe lag on their ends, or an old Recount or something?

"telling me I was doing overall about 4000 dps"If you had it set to "overall" data it's including trash DPS and anything you fought since you last reset the data, that can skew it a lot, specially if you're AoEing a lot of trash with a strong AoE class. Remember to set it to "current fight" to see your DPS on the boss.If you were just looking at the boss DPS page, it's possible that you were out of range of other peoples meters so your data didnt get added to theirs. Quite often in fights where peopel are spread out a lot the data can be pretty messed up for comparing to others, your recount should be accurate for you though.
