If you had it set to "overall" data it's including trash DPS and anything you fought since you last reset the data, that can skew it a lot, specially if you're AoEing a lot of trash with a strong AoE class. Remember to set it to "current fight" to see your DPS on the boss.

If you were just looking at the boss DPS page, it's possible that you were out of range of other peoples meters so your data didnt get added to theirs. Quite often in fights where peopel are spread out a lot the data can be pretty messed up for comparing to others, your recount should be accurate for you though.
