First, is there a trick to commenting on Blogs I don't know about? Apologies for the noob question and thanks in advanced.

Second, I'd put a second point in Nightfall, then fill out Improved Corruption until you can get Siphon Life, then pump points in to Shadow Embrace. The reasons are 2% base Corruptions > 12% Spell power at the moment. After Siphon Life, 1% of periodic dot damage stacking twice per point > most other things available.

I would skip Grim Reach entirely because it does not affect Shadowbolt, so you'll have to be in range to cast that anyway.
