I *really* wouldn't like to see them make level caps work both ways for old instances - if what you mean by that is to not allow people over a certain level into the instance. That would make it impossible to farm some reps (like Shen'dralar) because you wouldn't be able to get into the instances that you *need* to farm items from at the logical level to do them at (80, because if you tried to get Shen'dralar to exalted at the level you're running Dire Maul, you'd probably get almost to 70 doing just that). That would also ruin old world raids and various content that people would like to see if they weren't fortunate enough to go through if when they were at the appropriate level.While I'm not arguing the fact that gold farmers and exploiters have a direct impact on the game by basically manipulating the economy through selling gold, but at the same time, I really don't want the game to be ruined for me because of it. There has to be some middle ground to this issue. I'd find it a lot more ruinous to be locked out of content that I was too high of a level to be in than I would to find that some idiot who has too much gold on their hands can buy a lot of crap they shouldn't be able to on the AH. Which harms the playerbase more, really? As much as I dislike gold selling, go after the exploits that are letting accounts get hijacked in the first place. Taking away the way they exploit (and a minor part of it at that) is not even remotely close to solving the problem. Things like the authenticator go a long way toward solving the account jacking problem, but there needs to be a better way to encourage people to buy them and use them.I truthfully think things like hero classes that start at 55 are more of a ruination to the game than gold sellers could hope to be. It's created a new group of players who are lazy, unmotivated, and don't know how to play their class. You watch - down the line, they'll remove the requirement to even have a level 55 character on *any* server in order to make one, in order to appease the "give it to me now" segment of gamers that is a menace to PUGs and guilds everywhere. While many death knights i know are generally good people, they all seem to share some major character traits in terms of being impatient and wanting to run content over their gear level and experience. I notice it moreso than other classes. There's just a different kind of impatience that a class like that attracts.
