My understanding is that the main sources of recount differences come from
1) when you each cleared recount - trash included, since wipe, last boss only, etc
2) are pets added in or shown separately (u can see 1700 lock, 700 fg or 2400 lock)
3) distance - each person's recount only records events they are in range of. So you will see 100% of your dps/damage. Someone far enough away might not see some/any of your damage.
