Breakfast Topic: Have you ever actually met a GM in-game?

Over the years, I've submitted my fair share of tickets. Indeed once during the Wrath beta I and a bunch of other hapless explorers got trapped under Dalaran bank and I had to ask a GM to teleport them out (being a druid I just teleported to Moonglade -- after twenty minutes of waiting for my hearthstone to cooldown and them remembering I had an escape route). However in all my dealings with them in-game I've never actually met a GM in-game (on the other hand I've met a bunch in real life). So I want to know, readers, have you ever seen a GM with your own (virtual) eyes? Did they appear to you in that robe get up seen in the manual or as something a little more scary? Come on and spill the beans, I want to hear about all your fascinating GM encounters!

Awesome UI :O. Do you know by any chance what addon your guildie uses to "condense" all his UI in that little red frame/background thingy at the bottom? I'd love it for my toons

The map in the middle is sexy map. The action bars are probably bartender, possibly dominoes. Omen and recount are off to the bottom right. Chat on the right has time stamps, could be any number of chat add-ons, maybe Pratt. Buffs are elkano buff bars, personally I prefer satrina buff frames if you have the time to configure. Unit and raid frames are x-perl, personally I prefer pitbull, and have recently been using shadowed unit frames(in beta) from the same guy who makes afflicted. The panel at the bottom is almost certainly made with KGpanels, and the info at the top is FuBar. Hope this helps.

got a GM to appear to me inside AQ40 (i was alone) with his buddy and morphed me into stuff, punted me around, took some screens with me. they were cool

I haven't actually seen a GM, but:
Problems with master looter, had to transfer an item to someone else. Opened a ticket, eventually a GM answered and told me to destroy the item in my inventory so that he could give it to the other player. I promptly obeyed, after which he said "OMFG YOU ACTUALLY DELETED IT?!" and said he was trolling (not his exact words) after 20 seconds of awkward.

some GMs playing around in Dal on the 3.1.1 ptr. there was some sort of blizzard comp happening.

I accidental put my new healing Glyph on my DPS helm and had to ask a GM to fix it. Then as payment HE HAD A RIDE ON MY MAMMOTH !

Yeah, when leveling my mage there was a bugged naga in stranglethorn Vale, so i sent a ticket just to tell them so they could fix it and ended up sitting there for 2 hours... When the GM spoke to me he said, i think, "Are you at the mob now" - "Yes" i replied, and out of nowhere the GM (a tauren) showed up and waved :)

Back in TBC, I experienced a bug in Strat where the door to Baron wouldn't open up. The GM who opened it for me whispered me a congratulations after I killed the Baron and even briefly appeared in the room to /cheer for me.
From what I remember, she was a female draenei wearing robes and a hood.

Had something the same, but he appeared at the door opened it for me and a friend and transformed us around a bit. he then joined the fight while he formed into an ogre and which one of them yellow shields around him. After which he spawned that chicken of doom a few times.
i think his original form was an orc male dressed in the usual GM garb

never ever....im playing this game since 26 nov of 2004 and never seen a GM in game... the best i got was a long conversation regarting the shaman water totem quest in which a Gm was helping me ..and after give me the wrong direction , he teleport me to the right spot. after that.... nothing else . =(
