Sunday Morning Funnies: No more rubber gloves
Today, the rubber gloves come off. Or rather, they are not being put on again. The list is a good one, full of jokes you need to read because I - Cru is getting some action! Though I do have to say, the latest update cracked me right up!
- Dark Legacy Comics: No More Puns.
- Experience Points: Vincent gets nerfed and then needs to make a decision. Not only did I "lol" I totally identify.
- I love the last frame of the latest from Flintlocke vs. the Horde.
- Check out the latest from LFG.
- NoObz: 64 I live in the Shadows.
- NPC: Confused Instincts. Thanks for the kind words at Mike's meet-up Mary! I, too, vote for Booth Studs.
- Check out the latest from Teh Gladiators.
- The Adventures of Disgraph T. Dwarf: Gotta Catch Them All. I can't wait to see what Disgraph unleashes. After all, pinching is mean.
- Check out the guest comic on World of Warcraft, eh? written by Dan Wood of Disgraph. I giggled pretty hard at the hockey sticks!
- In the category of new things, a recent Working Daze comic was WoW-related.

err... you messed up the hyperlinks for gotta catch em all, and world of warcraft, eh?
You also linked an old dark legacy comics.
Thanks for terrible reporting

That is the latest Dark Legacy Comic. There will not be a newer one until tomorrow. As Amanda is human and therefore cannot post links to things that do not exist yet, she went with the most recent one as of the time she made the post.

So the above is a mirage?
Keydar seems to post new comics sunday afternoons, as this is the second Sunday where I've seen a post linking to an old comic on the wow.com front page.
Perhaps it would be a better idea to link to darklegacy's front page?
Mattimus Jun 7th 2009 10:02PM
Dark Legacy updates either Sundays or Mondays, but yes... WoW Insider is usually a comic behind on Dark Legacy every single week, because they always seem to post right before it gets updated.
Nothing much for it, but they should at least acknowledge that, by the time they post the "new" Dark Legacy, it's already week-old news. Linking to the main page would be best, though that would preclude them from commenting on the actual content of the comic.

@Mattimus -
That happens to me, too. WoW Eh gets posted Sunday night, so by the time WoW.com posts it, that comic is up for only the day of Sunday before it gets replaced. *shrug* =)

Could Cru get anymore Mary Sue?
Mattimus Jun 7th 2009 10:05PM
This was pretty much how most people felt about this comic since it started.
I haven't read it for a while, having grown quite tired of the boob jokes on top of that.
Cru Jun 8th 2009 7:03AM
Of course you mean Mary CRU.
Kia Jun 7th 2009 11:12AM
Wow, Do Not Want high elf on dwarf action. Seriously. D:
Al Jun 7th 2009 12:59PM
More like high-elf-really-a-dragon Mary Sue on dwarf action. What a terrible comic, save for the warlock parts.

That Working Daze strip was gut-wrenchingly unfunny.
Sorro Jun 7th 2009 12:49PM
Um, can someone explain the Flintlocke punchline? How does his announcing he's going commando follow from the gibberish?
Amanda Miller Jun 7th 2009 5:10PM
It follows from his interpretation of the gibberish.
Cadychan Jun 7th 2009 1:04PM
Woah, no offense, but it sounds like a couple readers are dipping into the Hate-or-ade. :s I guess on that note, I don't understand the punchline for Dark Legacy, but hey, whatev'. *shrug*
Cru Jun 7th 2009 5:39PM
I concur. Loved that guest comic, you must be working your fingers to the bone from working on projects (Twitter stalking ;P)

Dark Legacy Comics is 100% garbage and I'd love to know how much they have to pay all the WoW news sites for all the promotion they get. I'm sure it's still a profitable venture given the number of banner ads they run, though.
unigolyn Jun 7th 2009 7:53PM
I guess you can't be faulted for having absolutely no sense of humor.

Damn, if they're the three examples you picked to try to prove that Dark Legacy is funny, then it must be even worse than I thought. They are horrible, not even remotely amusing.

This is one of my favorites.
Mike Schramm Jun 8th 2009 12:14PM
Too busy today to look for the link, but the Sporeggar one is my favorite Dark Legacy comic ever. Where all the players whine about the game, and then the little Sporeggar proves they have nothing to complain about.
