World of WarCrafts: Sugarrat's WoW Bleach Shirt

World of WarCrafts spotlights art and creativity by WoW players and fans, including fan art, cooking, comics, cosplay, music, fan fiction – and yes, (War)crafts. Share your stuff by tipping us off via our tips line (attention: World of WarCrafts).This T-shirt from Sugarrat of Earthen Ring-US is crafting at its absolute best: a cool end product based on instructions simple enough that you could pull it off with your paws in bear form. We asked Sugarrat to send us the complete instructions and photos so we could host them here, to keep her guild's server from being splurched -- that's how popular we know this shirt will be.
"I am a girly girl," Sugarrat explains. "I like my pearls and my bright colours and really wish there was more wearable Warcraft art. I saw a few sexy things on Etsy -- but I am also kinda cheap, so thought I would try and make my own."

Your prejudices are showing. Short hair does not a homosexual make. I know many, many straight women who wear their hair like that.

You guys are being really senselessly harsh here.
The person who made this shirt outright says --

The haircut is not exactly the hallmark of a "girly girl." It's not a comment about sexuality or sex appeal or gender or ANYTHING. It just isn't the kind of a haircut a typical self-professed "girly girl" would have.

I'm saddened by the rampant homophobia on wow.com. Why is it considered so bad that this lesbian woman's photo is displayed in this article. It shouldn't matter that she is gay.

You're getting it wrong, that's perfectly acceptable haircut. I got very similar IRL, just a tad longer.
I'm surprised she's Horde, though, considering she's a perfect example of real-life dwarf female... and a pretty one, too! More power to the dwarves!

So when you say "Bleach shirt", you don't mean the Japanese anime/manga of the same name about good spirits fighting bad spirits with big swords right? I was looking forward to seeing some Horde + Hollow imagery on a shirt.

Well done. Nice subtle effect with lots of room for variation to play with. I like the idea of playing with color and negative space too.
Makes me want to try this myself. Lots of ideas. Imagine using a really dilute bleach solution so that the pattern is really subtle. At first you don't give it a second glance. Then something makes you look back. The more you look, the clearer the image seems to you, until you can't not see it.
As for the beauty-blind a$$hats in some of the above posts, rest assured those of us with our eyes open appreciate what we see in the photo above, and the creativity of spirit behind it.
