One other distinction i would like to add to the whole article, and would like to get across to the gaming world in general. There is a big difference in noobs... In text form I distinguish like so: Noob- that lousy player that thinks they're great and/or will simply never learn to play in anyway that makes them worth inviting to your group. Newb- the new player that hasn't had the opportunity and/or the longer time player that hasn't been given the opportunity or assistance to learn and become a quality player. I've experienced them both, and while I have absolutely no problem, and in fact enjoy in some cases, helping the newbs and helping to create a valued player. I'll drop kick a noob out of my raid in a heartbeat.
