Good article. Far too few people are aware of ilvl and stats distribution.

However, probably to make things easier to explain, you have chosen very clear comparisons, such as envoy vs platinum guard.

It will also be valuable (and practical) to discuss ilvl 213 nax drops vs ilvl 219 ulduar drops. For instance, many feel that platinum guard is inferior to most ilvl 213 h naxx weapons.
