Considering that Unending Breath actually has uses (makes a dozen or more quests infinitely more easier, at least it used too), doesn't require a soul-shard, and is cheap, its actually more usefull than some of your Mage spells, hah!
You know what's sadder than a frost mage in PvE?
A frost mage who drowned! Hahahaha!

Not to mention that it doesn't cost a reagent, like the shaman equivalent. :D

I love mages who Mana Shield in PVP. Makes bashing their face in on my DK that much more entertaining.
