Well, flamestrike USED to be useless, though it's now useful with talents, at least for soloing (especially farming) and on trash in a lot of the 5 mans, if your tank doesn't mind AoEs. With Firestarter, you get an instant Flamestrike if your Blast Wave or Dragon's Breath causes damage, so you actually end up having 4 instant AoEs in a row.

Before this, I very rarely used my flamestrike.
