While I'm still not happy with the removal of the prismatic properties for the JC Dragon's eye, it will be interesting to see what sort of buffs the gems get and what sort of epic recipes can come of it.Also interested in what Engineers will be able to do as my druid is 2/3 of the way to level 65 where he can get grand master engineering

Don't get too interested. I've been an engineer since the stress test, and it's probably at it's lowest point fun-wise. The tinkers listed are, unless you play a /very/ numbers based game with low latency and perfect rotations, utter crap compared to the passive enchants they don't stack with. They could have kept the stats the same and just made them stack. That would have been Happy.

Engineering is still fun, and still effective, and no, it doesn't require insanely low latency. Even for GCD-starved classes (Blood DK, for example), you can bind the rockets to an oft-used ability (I go with death coil as I also use it at range) and, as they don't trip the GCD, get good results. It's trickier (and a lot more expensive!) to work in bombs, but even then the time to target and throw one out is significantly less than a GCD if you've keybound it.
