There is a BIG difference between shoes and tattoos. Shoes are a necessity where tattoos are not. I spent a lot of time in an art college town where most of the students have lots of tattoos. So I have spent a lot of time with people with a lot of tattoos. It is really not a big deal that they have them. Its the personality type that I noticed more from people that have them.
Lacking foresight is a sign of being unstable. You can't say that you don't know a tattoo is forever and a big deal when going in.
If your tattoos are there for you great, but I can tell you you lumping yourself into a group upon peoples first impression. Rocking a skull tattoo with snakes and blood in plain sight is not going to land you any management positions.
My statements are facts. The vast majority of grown people agree with these statements.
