Question for The Queue:I've got an alt on a server and I want to transfer him over to my "main" server and toon. She's got over 2000G from his older and useless death knight sister. My issues are: A. The alt I would want to transfer is only level 12, so the gold cap rears it's ugly head.B. I already have a main death knight on the destination realm... so the "only 1 DK per server" rule kicks in.Any suggestions on getting around this? Anyone have any GM experiences with something similar where they can help? I have no problem paying the transfer fee, but just need the right solution to get it over there.

I don't understand the problem. 2,000g is less than one percent of the gold cap, and the gold cap doesn't have anything to do with level anyway, does it? I'm pretty sure my bank alt (level 13) has had over 1,000g on him at one point, and I know some bank alts are lower level than mine. And the "only 1 DK per server" rule is only a problem if you want to move your "older and useless death knight" along with this level 12 alt. But if that DK is useless, why not just leave her on the server where she is now?

This is the gold problem:Character restrictions: * Every character to be transferred has to be at least level 10. * Characters carrying too much gold are not eligible for transfer, as follows: Level 10-30: 300 gold limit * Level 31-50: 1000 gold limit * Level 51-69: 5000 gold limit * Level 70-80: 20000 gold limit * An individual character may only be transferred once every month.

Blizzard sets a cap on how much gold can transfer between servers when a toon is moved. The amount of gold that can be transferred scales by level, with higher level toons being allowed to take greater amounts of gold with them. This is designed to impede gold sellers from transferring large quantities of gold with low level toons from a gold rich server to a gold poor. The following is from the official WOW site regarding paid character transfers:http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=20558&rhtml=true%3Frhtml%3DyCharacter Restrictions:- Every character to be transferred has to be at least level 10.- Characters carrying too much gold are not eligible for transfer, as follows:- Level 10-30: 300 gold limit- Level 31-50: 1000 gold limit- Level 51-69: 5000 gold limit- Level 70 - 80: 20000 gold limit- An individual character may only be transferred once every 30 days.- As a security precaution, Death Knights can only be transferred once they reach level 60.As you can see, to keep new Death Knights from circumventing the gold limit, they require them to be played for a few levels before transfers are possible.
