Maybe we should have seen this coming a mile away, after TBC had us farming Kara for BT gear. But after the way it was done in 3.1, it sure feels like another schizophrenic move by Blizzard’s design team.

My main concern is the not-so-subtle re-introduction of grind-for-gear. Because a casual can get a lot of excellent T7 and T8 gear, and Runed Orbs, *if* you are willing grind until your eyeballs glaze over and your fingertips are numb.

As I said on another thread, this seems to be for PvPers to catch up, since casuals don’t need the gear, and progression raiders are getting gear drops from raiding.

Oh well. I’ve been suckered into mindless repetitions and grinds before. Here I go again...
