It's funny how this item generates the most comments. Hardcore vs Casuals? :)I'm tending to lean toward the middle. They should make it easier for the newer and/or slower people to progress to see end-game content, but I think bumping the badges up two tiers may be a bit much. If they had turned all Heroism badges into Valor badges, and all Valor badges into Conquest badges, that would have been really good. And when Icecrown comes out, bump them all up a tier again.But, there is still one major difference. For those players who lacked the skill to participate in "cutting-edge" groups, they may suddenly get gear, but they still won't have the skill to use it effectively. For those who, for whatever reasons, can't find groups but may actually be skilled players, this would help them as well, and may help them get into a group that matches their skill level.If they later decide to offer all raid drops for sale on badge vendors, then I'd be upset. KT -still- hasn't dropped my gun, and it's still better than all but three guns in Ulduar. I would cry a little inside if I could suddenly buy it from a vendor :)
