Patch 3.2 brings about Ravasaur mounts, baby dinosaurs, Northrend orphans and more
Great news for collectors of pets and mounts in the Patch 3.2 notes! Not only will the long-desired Ravasaur mount finally be available -- for Horde players only, mind you -- but dinosaur fanatics will be pleased to discover that they can find Raptor Hatchlings from rare and elite raptors throughout the world. For those unwilling to farm, you can also buy Obsidian Raptor Hatchlings from Breanni in Dalaran!
But that's not all. Besides those two, Blizzard says that there are six other new unannounced non-combat pets available, not including Argent Tournament rewards.
But even that's not all! Northrend Children's Week will start with the new patch, which means that we're likely to see the Gorloc and Wolvar orphans we've known about since Wrath launched.
All that's on top of the new paladin mounts from the Argent Tournament, the Sunreaver and Silver Covenant mounts, and the new as-yet-unnamed Argent Tournament pet. Nice patch for you pet and mount collectors, eh?
Patch 3.2 will bring about a new 5, 10, and 25 man instance to WoW, and usher in a new 40-man battleground called the Isle of Conquest. WoW.com will have you covered every step of the way, from extensive PTR coverage through the official live release. Check out WoW.com's Guide to Patch 3.2 for all the latest!

When are we going to hear about the Midsummer seasonal boss? New gear that drops off of him...

It's good that the Horde finally gets their equivalent of the Wintersaber mount. However, in the interest of fairness, it had better be every bit as much of a grind as the Wintersaber mount was.
Maybe now that the Horde finally gets theirs, Wintersaber rep will finally be worth an achievement?

The way I read it, there will be six kinds of raptor pet, the way there's many colors of dragon whelp.

we have the Winterspring Frostsabre. This is compensation.
I didn't play in Vanilla WoW but it was my understanding that the Frostsabres were there to help people who couldn't get Epic riding get a mount with Epic speed (EVen now, it only requires level 60 and 75 riding skill to get Epic speed). I wonder if this will match it.
Now, if they're going to have it earn-able in one quest, I'd like the Frostsabre to match that, but otherwise? I'm pleased both sides have a faction-specific mount.

It's a great looking mount though. Even though I have almost 60 mounts and Livestock addon, this one is my permanent ground mount.

Note that the picture (from Petopia) is the creature version of a Ravasaur or Ravasaur Hunter (http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/skins/skin_raptorskinviolet.html). There are other ravasaur creatures in the game, and I'm not sure we have confirmation yet on what the ravasaur mount will look like.

I think that the Ravasaur and Winterspring kitty mounts should both be multifaction, becasue I am soooo getting bored of Zul'Gurub.

riding on of those tribal raptors bothers me a little. i mean they are intelligent enough to wear jewelery and live in rudimentary huts. i think this is a plot by the Ravasaur elders to get enough of their people into horde cities.

Nothing special. It is the same model as the non epic Troll mounts. Try again Blizzard.
