This was my thought on reading it as well. What do they mean by beneficial. Even if the mage can't use it, stealing a buff is a benefit for the mage because the other guy doesn't have it. I didn't realize it wasn't supposed to be a general dispell. I thought it was supposed to be a "dispell plus".

On the other hand, a glyph for spell steal would be cool...if it was a minor glyph. Currently I only have 2 minor glyphs just because the minor glyphs for mages are all kinda weak (except slow fall which I consider mandatory).

I am loving the change to Invisibility though. Maybe they could do the same sort of deal with Evocation.
