Will the epic gems mean that all the current gems become obsolete? Will uncut gems such as Scarlet Rubies and the like become worthless or will epic gems only replace some of the current gems?

there are new epic grade gems to be cut out there, cant recall the new names off my head, Runed for example has 20SP i think it is... might be 18, regardless, it is a improvement from the old gems of course, but he price is still 500g+ for the epic gems, Rare grade gems are still the norm as they remain under 100g, once ulduar becomes more raided the prices of both gems will drop, overall it is a luxurious improvement and is widely unused to do upgrades still unrecieved in ulduar
