Like a lot of other people, I've been opening that egg every week since January and still no mount.

Wasn't there some talk a while ago that Blizzard had put in place a system where the drop rate for quests increased gradually as you killed more things for a quest, to keep people from getting too frustrated?

Well they totally need to add that to this stupid egg. Maybe something like: after you've opened 50 eggs you automatically get the mount if you haven't yet.

That's already in game but the drake from the egg isn't a quest item you collect, it's simply a drop. The rules do not apply by any measure.

Yea, I agree with you here... Blizz should really come up with a way to save ppl's sanity when it comes to the RNG.

I haven't even put much effort into the turtle mount, but seeing ppl post that they've done 6000+ casts is just disheartening. Then on the other end of the spectrum is all the ppl that got it the first day / week it was out with practically no effort or time sink.
