my Shammy is soo ridiculously lucky on the mounts/prized pets got the whelp in his first egg and the drake in his third egg, second one was the cobra. he also only took about 5 dailies to get the polar bear mount. my pally on the other hand, has spent 3 months of solid dailies to get nothing but water, spherically packed frozen water, and cheese, and money which is just inconsequential. i haven't even bothered getting the eggs yet, just can't take that much RNG rejection. there really should be some sort of counter that follows how many of those dailies you have done (or eggs opened) without a mount in it, once it reaches a certain threshold you're next one is guaranteed, or some sort of drop % increase after each time you do the quest/open an egg until one is in the loot, then it resets to the 1-3% it starts at.
