Did you ignore all instances on the way to 80? If you did, why? If you didnt, then your point is what exactly, because your doing what we "wet our pants" over 3 years ago.And its socks for us older types..."On the other hand, for those of us WHO NEVER SAW THAT CONTENT, this is a welcome opportunity to experience (even if nerfed) what YOU wet your pants over 3 years ago."Mate, seriously, you cant do that today or last week or next month because...?The content is still there for everyone to see regardless of XP switches. It is still there! It never went away.No one forces you to go at 80, 70, 60 or at all. You choose , you organize, and you have a ball. I had a point at the end of my OP, but it went walkies...this may help you understand where im coming from Grendalsh. You will never, ever, ever experience Vanilla end-game, or BC end-game, even by revisiting those locations, simply because its not the same game anymore, by a long, long way and in so many senses. You know that gearing for ulduar/naxx/whatever thing everyone does now? Crafted epics, badge loot etc etc..Well "in the day" , epics were harder to come by, (more people rolling on fewer drops, less often). Even the 55+ dungeon set 1 was a grind, and a minor triumph. And without factors such as that, regardless of level, your a tourist.Thats why i specifically mentioned the last major patch before BC. The only way to get the feeling we got then was to be there. Anything you do now is sightseeing. Even if they released a v1.11 realm, its still not the end-game it was at the time! Removed from context these encounters are fantastic, but hollow, the endgame only matters when your invested in it.Its like visting woodstock now and expecting to get the vibe from a field, or Omaha beach and wondering where the soldiers are...And, much more importantly, you could do that anyway without completely changing the twink game.Did killing twinking really have to happen? The real meat of this switch is the impact on twinks, and that is largely being ignored by a fantastic round of rose-coloured glasses and nostalgia.I dont twink btw, but everyone seems to have missed the fairly major white elephant in the corner that is the destruction of the twink.

How is the twink destroyed? I thought this gives them exactly what they (claimed to) want: An ability to play with other twinks and to get gear in instances etc. without levelling.I do not twink, and I think it's fantastic that people with XP off (most likely twinks) will queue up in BGs with others with XP off, and people with XP on will only queue with people with XP on. That change, along with the change where you now gain XP in battlegrounds, will effectively make twinks BG with other twinks, and non-twinks with other non-twinks. Which is fantastic, IMO -- I could never win an AV or WG until after lvl 60 because of all the damn twinks running around.Anyway -- let me know, I don't really understand how the twink is "destroyed."
