Feitan offers up even more WoW icons for your enjoyment
Feitan has posted another terrific set of WoW-related icons over on WoW LJ. Combine all of those with the first set, and throw in all of the other ones we've collected for you in the past, and you've got a really nice set of perfectly-sized choices from World of Warcraft to use as your icon on whatever service needs an avatar.
Like, for example, our own comments. While the cartoon Ogre we've got as the default is quite cute, you might want to make yours a little more personal -- all you've got to do is click your name after commenting, and you'll be taken to a page where you can log in and edit your profile, see your comments so far, and yes, update a new profile picture. If you're still using the default commenter icon with our brand new commenting system, now is definitely the time to make the upgrade.

Eeeh, no offense but there are likely better icons out there to post, such as the ones from the LJ community soaked.

I also think: better fix the comments system first before posting about icons :/
Half the time I can't post a comment, right now the most succesful way for me to try and post is to select the 'New Readers' tab and fill out my username and email there, since 'Returing' does nothing. Then I have to *hope* that I will get sent a confirmation email to actually post my comment. If it gets posted, I have about 50% chance that my custom icon shows up.
Ok, probably this has something to do with me never signing up for this new profile thing and still using the login you had before that. I went there, and it said cheerfully: Sign in with your AIM account! I'm sorry, but I never used anything by AOL, wasn't planning to either (does anybosy in Europe ever use it?? I have never met one I think) and have succesfully deleted all chat stuff like MSN/Adium on my computer years ago with glee. I really don't want to have to sign up with some other service just to be able to comment on WoW.com.
Just: ...meh.

Wow. So all I need to get mentioned on wow.com is a mediocre knowledge of Photoshop, some bad screenshots and the crop tool?
Advertising these is like those awful commercials advertising ringtones or screensavers for your crappy cell phones.

I'm signed up and I still have to confirm every comment. The site doesn't remember me...ever.
three different "looks" for the website and the same bugs. I guess making it pretty is easier than making it work.

and I have to agree with Josin on this one.
those "icons" are hella bad and are NOT news.
But then again, look who posted it.

I can't access my WoW.com account, none of the buttons allow me to change my icon or anything. Good thing I like the one I already have, but too bad that I apparently will never be able to change it. :|
