I'm not surprised that they put in a Thanksgiving related holiday, but isn't there already a feast-related one around that time? Like, the Honoring of Fallen Soldiers or something?

Yeah. But there's not really much to it. Just some tables with free food on them, and a quest. This new Thanksgiving holiday sounds awesome. I want that turkey pet.

A couple countries have their own version of thanksgiving (Canada celebates theirs in Oct, and the Netherlands holds some sort of church service, because pilgrams stoped there on the way to America), and i bet they're much different from the United States version. I always figured it was going to be left out as a holiday due to time differences, and customs. Huh... also Grenada celebrates by eat biscuits with grapes to celebrate the birth of mulac barrimus (Thank you Wikipedia, I learned something new.)
It'll be interesting to see how this one plays out.
Mmm turkey... *goblegoblegoble*
