I've had an on-off relationship with WoW over the years. My original warrior was rolled back in patch 1.8, still has the Sargent tag.
So what brought me back? Easier/faster mount and travel times, dual specs, dailies, more focus on pvp/battlegrounds, greatly expanded options for raiders.
Blizz really is trying to cater to all markets and is doing remarkably well in pulling many people who were formerly dissatisfied back into the fold with new features (some that I think should have been in the game long ago, but whatever).
