I played for almost 2 years before I quit out of sheer boredom.

I keep coming back because most of my friends are still playing. Never manage more than a couple of weeks of "play" though - never made it out of that first harbor in Northrend. I just mostly stand by Stormwind mailbox and chat with friends.

It's not very likely that I'll ever come back to "play" the game anymore, once you fall off the progress wagon, you're pretty much done.

Perhaps next expansion - but most likely not, I'm already 10 levels behind on the curve, so I'll be forced to play months of catchup before I can play with friends again and that's.. mehh..
