I like the idea of the gear looking progressively better but still being the same base armor. However, I have given up on blizzard with armor sets. They seem to have a stance that is against customization and don't even want to give us armor dyes. Even if the sets do look cool rarely do you have a full set in game because often there are pieces that just aren't that good, leaving you with a hodgepodge of different gear-- which now has the same model-- but still are many different colors. The above with the fact that I really don't like Blizzard's WWF Caricature art style to begin with leaves me always disappointed when I see new art come out. In the above pictures I actually like the first armor sets more than the last.
