Couldn't cut it in Ulduar? Too lazy? Neither, thanks. I had no opportunity to go to Ulduar because at the time of night I play, the raids are already full usually and our guild is still gearing. I'm not jealous of people who can go, though I do have an expectation that they try not to be closed-minded and assume that because some players aren't geared or aren't running it means they aren't competent and are lazy. The only person in my guild who even does Ulduar is currently unemployed, can go to bed at 6 a.m. and get up whenever the hell he wants, and has no children or other responsibilities during the day. The rest of us have responsibilities outside the game that preclude us from playing whenever our id tells us we'd like to. It's not at all about not wanting to put in the time. I've researched my gear drops, I know what I want, I know how to get there...now I just need to work on getting the rest of my guild to that point. I've run heroics til they came out of my ears. I'm still running them to work on my off-spec set while I wait for everyone to be geared and in a position to start running 10-mans. They're the only people I know on my server that I can guarantee running at the time of day I can and who are understanding if something happens and I have to go AFK.
