Sak - Months? maybe if you run 1 a day. The T9 buyable via EoC now are 58 each. Round it up to 120. Each herioc drops, on average, 4 badges. 30 heroics... if you wanted to gear quickly, run 3 a night for a few nights a week... say 4 nights - versus doing dailies etc. If you have a good group, that's about 3 hours of work each night, 12 hours for the week. It's not a lot of time, so don't give me the "that's HARDCORE" reply.

Now, 12 heroics x 4 badges on average gives you 48 badges for a week. Do that for a bit more than 2 weeks and you have 2 pieces of T8.

However, yes, to get ALL of the gear will take a bit... but to get a very nice start with 2-4 slots of it can take as little as a month if you can play ~10-15 hours per week.
