On Warcraftpets they say they're BoU, which I think means BoE. Its going to be very hard to collect the pets from the rares, they'll be camped out by fellow collectors (which is fair enough :) and gold farmers (Not the gold selling variety, the ones who'll put them on the AH for 4k gold etc. and insane collectors will buy them too). Just one of the rares has a 5-8 hour respawn timer, another is in the same area the horde farm for their equivalent of the Winterspring Frostsaber, good luck trying to get that if your on the Alliance side.
