Elemental seems pretty screwed in Ulduar. We're gonna end up being forced to wear a bunch of mp5 gear just to upgrade, or not upgrade at all. 3.2 can't come fast enough. Elemental can just get Emblem of Conquest gear and move on.

I completely agree. Elemental shammy in Ulduar, (in my guild atleast), is becoming more and more unpopular. Let's hope it doesn't go the way of the elusive 2-hander shamman. Not feasible dps-wise anymore, and anyone you see spec'ing towards it you're definitely not inviting to your raids.

True, we have less non-set itemization than would be ideal, but we're not screwed at all. Good ele shamans are consistently in the top 5 on dps and on fights like general are in a position to be on top and never have to step foot in a green puddle. Without the plethora of non-set drops you just have to really know what's an upgrade and what isn't (god bless the EJ SEIC spreadsheet). If the lack of raining gear makes the bad ele shaman leave the spec so be it.
