Peggle: WoW Edition released as a standalone download

There's Peggle the original PC game, Peggle the XBLA game, Peggle the iPhone game, Peggle: Steam edition, and Peggle the WoW addon, and so when I heard rumblings of "Peggle: WoW edition," I just figured people were talking about one of the many, many already-released versions of PopCap's popular Plinko-inspired pasttime. But no -- the folks at PopCap have released another version of Peggle: Peggle World of Warcraft edition is a standalone, free (PC-only) download that allows you to play a WoW-related version completely outside of World of Warcraft.All that make sense? It sounds like PopCap realized that there was a call for a brand new version of Peggle (including new stages, WoW-related backgrounds, and even a secret easter egg between Arthas and Bjorn the unicorn) that was different enough to stand as its own PC game, so they worked their coding magic and put it all together into a downloadable standalone. And much to the lament of Mac gamers everywhere, it's PC-only.
But then again, it's free, it's Peggle, and so if you haven't gotten your Peggle fix through any of the aforementioned channels yet, here's the hit you've been waiting for. If you do the math (and chart the number of Peggle versions over time), we're pretty sure that, soon, all games will be Peggle. And strangely enough, we're kind of OK with that. Peggle is really fun.

Peggle is kick ass fun, good to see more free peggle! I found the addon rather too distracting.. I spent alot of time playing peggle when I was meant to be hitting stuff In LBRS... which may have caused a wipe or two.

I love "real" Peggle, but I couldn't stand the WoW version. The physics are disconcerting if you've spent any time with the PC version. But I guess you get what you pay for, and I still love WoW Bejeweled :)

cmon guys, get it right.
PC = personal computer, which by definition is ANY personal computer. I know these days it has just become common fact that a "pc" is a machine that operates on windows, but its not. a mac is a pc.
i know its anal and everyone knows what you mean but i guess its just one of those stupid things some people cringe about.
on another note, huzzah for the great news!

Language is defined by usage. PC has meant "a computer used primarily to run windows" for decades now. Arguing the literal definition doesn't make you smart, it makes you a pedant.

Reminder:
1. Your biological flesh will one day stop working. You will no longer remember what happened in this world. All of your life is what you have now. There are literally no second chances.
2. You are playing a video game that is so boring as to allow you to play another game inside of the game. Wow sucks your time into a vaccuum, where it will never escape.
Please contemplate the insane things you could be doing instead of playing video games. You could be learning about the world or reading books, or traveling. You could be getting to know your parents, or your siblings, or other people in your life (Who will also die, see 1). You only have this one opportunity. You could literally die at anytime.
You could literally cease to exist at anytime. Tomorrow you might not wake up, people die in their twenties all the time. Their heart stops.
Consider whether you really want to to be grinding for epic flight. Consider whether you REALLY want to be collecting random mob_skins for a virtual piece of clothing. You could in the real world learn how to sow your own clothes, which you can show other people.
There may come a time where the online world can effectively offer the same types of pleasures and returns on investment in time. Now is not that time.

Now tell me, who are you to tell me that the way I live my life is incorrect? Who are you to tell me how I should be having fun?
Last I checked every human being is different from one another. Some of us like reading, some of us like hanging out with friends. Some like doing things that are more readily dangerous than spending their time playing a video game.
Some like doing drugs, some like smoking, some like skydiving. We like to have fun in our own way and no one should have a say on whether out life style is wrong or right.
I realize you're a troll and most likely posted this to instigate comments such as mine, but people who think that their lifestyle is the only "correct" one piss me the fuck off.
