Excellent article, especially about the 'philosophy' or attitude of playing a Drood. Druid was the first class I rolled when I started and knew nothing, because 'it'd be fun to shapeshift'! I had no idea how hard it would be, and it still is. I'm a very casual player, and because of that almost always play solo. For this style of play, Druid can be excellent, but can also lead to slow progress and frustration. Enough frustration that I've leveled a Rogue to 80, while my original Druid is just now at 70 (three other classes waiting at 40 for when I finally get the Druid to 80).

I'd love some practical advice in the upcoming articles. . ., and yes, I have read the guides. Some are excellent, but many seem geared (pun intended) to the person in a raiding guild - "just swap out your third specialty purple spec armor group, and you'll be good to go for this special situation"! I think that Druids are the perfect, but most challenging class for casual players, because of the versatility. But that requires training. I hope to see more about that type of training or education.

I did Moonkin in pre-BC, and used that for a playing style of stand back and SLOWLY DOT the opponent to death. I've rerolled Feral, and based on some of the comments here, I'm behind the times again, and should go resto. One specific question is that I've never seen a good low-level explanation on how to use/play Bear - I switch to bear when I get jumped or pull too many in kitty, and things start looking bad. Then my choice seems to be to stand there and take more damage just to get my rage up enough to attack back. Sub-optimal.

As others have said, Flight Form is the best . . . and at this point I do wish my Druid was Herbalism, rather than Skinning! Can't wait for Epic Flight!! Thanks for the article, hope for good things to come.
