Trial of the Crusader testing off to a rough start

For those of you hoping to get in on some PTR testing this evening, you'll be happy to know that you're not alone in your "Trials of the Instance Not Available" raid. Lord Jaraxxus was supposed to be available for the US this evening, which is the 10/25 man raid boss.
Daelo has posted that Blizzard has had some technical issues with the testing tonight, and that things are being delayed until they get fixed.
WoW.com has a group assembled and will be going in when the darn things works, and hopefully we'll have some good guides for you in the next couple of days.
Check back for updates on this all. Fingers crossed, we'll bring you good news.
Update: Daelo (Me say Dae-ooo) has canceled the testing for tonight. Check back for later for an updated schedule.

Wait, are we supposed to be testing the instance or what the live servers will be like when 3.2 hits?
All kidding aside it's a little sad we can't get in, I was looking forward to finally be able to get into the new instance. Hopefully it'll be up soon.

Given how overwhelmed the test servers were when Ulduar testing was going on for 3.1, it's hardly surprising. There is an enormous amount of pent-up demand for any new raid content.

I never have understood the appeal of the PTR. It makes me really wonder if it adds to the "burnout" factor.
By the time it rolls out live, it is old hat.

Well, there's the competitive element: if you want to contest server-firsts, getting some PTR experience in gives you a definite advantage.
But there's also the fact that people have been raiding Ulduar every week for two and a half months now (and that's not even a long time in the scheme of things), and want to fight a new boss.
I don't think anyone really gets to spend enough time on a raid on the PTR for it to really become "old hat".

...of course we will, we don't appreciate douchebags.

Since you've contributed comments before I won't ban you now, but just a warning:
We are taking a liberal ban hammer to those that do this "First" bullshit.
Don't be that guy.

When I saw the "Me say Dae-ooo" link, I thought to myself, "Oh man, that had BETTER be the Beetlejuice link and not some lame 'real' version of the song."
Thank you, Adam, for not disappointing me.

Ha! I'm glad someone got it. You're very welcomed. =)

Adam, if he's contributed before that is all the more reason to to drop the hammer for blatant stupidity. There are no excuses and this definitely does not warrant a second chance.
By not banning you will be setting a precedent for the future that anyone who contributes posts will be able to make a 'first post' post and get away with it with no retribution.
