I played a little of both when i first started and i quickly found that although the Horde is pretty cool, the Alliance is vastly superior in every way (looks, lore, leaders, racials; you name it- Alliance is better).Add to that the fact that I had a real world friend that played Alliance and the fact the the only race I don't like is a Horde race (Undead. I hate Undead). The choice was easy. Another factor is that I always seem to get bored with my Horde alts. The only one I've been able to play for more than 30 minutes without getting homesick for my Alliance toons is my Blood Elf Mage. I think I'll make her my Horde main and use her to see Horde quests, but I'll probably have her swap sides at lv80.
