Recently, during the Q&A about death knights and the upcoming changes for 3.2 Ghostcrawler made an interesting comment. " It is impossible for death knights to ever run out of resources." I think this is one of the key reasons all 2v2 teams have death knights. Combined with paladin healing, bubble, utility, it is just a difficult combination to beat.

I stomped 1-2 holy paladin blood DK teams around 1650 rating this weekend as a resto shaman/ret paladin group. It's a process of earthbind totem, windfury totem, heroism, purging all buffs, and hexing/interrupting the holy paladin. Typically, we'd kill on the second hex rotation and hold heroism until then while I healed and kited - the disease cleansing totem, earth shield, and frost shock slow DKs down a lot on shamans if you keep LoS from the death grasp.

I suppose the DK/Paladin just rolls over while you do that? cause when i arena, (just started), we never CC the other team, and my holy pally partner definitely never attacks the totems cause they might explode on his face. Not to mention we never go after the squishy shaman that dies in the duration of a trap. God forbid if my partner bubbles. And we never equip pvp trinkets either. Yep, we just go in there, and just go afk, definitely. Oh and we always LOS each other so i can never peeled off of him if he's in trouble. I'm not a DK, but can't the DK just silence? can't he DG the person on the paladin? chains of ice? DK pet?
