Yes, our friend Medros of All Things Azeroth joined us on the podcast last week for an extra long show, and what we can say? There was just tons of things to talk about. Medros, Turpster, our own Lesley Smith and I answered your emails (including updates on faction changes as well as the big response we got from fans of Ensidia last week), and talked about the most popular stories from the World of Warcraft. Of course we didn't need the chat channel to remind us of the Worgen pet issue (though they reminded us anyway), we talked about Tom Chilton's interview and the chance that WoW may one day go "free to play," and we talked about Bind to Account items twice: how they'll work with faction changes in the future, and what items like the Tome of Cold Weather Flight tell us about Blizzard's plans for the future.
Lots of laughs were had, and hopefully we gave out some insight as well. Enjoy the show, and we'll see you next week. I'll still be out of town, so we're not quite sure when it'll be broadcasting live yet, but stay tuned here to WoW.com -- we'll let you know as soon as we do. Or just subscribe up in iTunes, and you'll get every show sent directly to your iPod every week like clockwork. And if you do head over there, be sure to toss us a rating and/or a review -- the more you put in there, the merrier we'll be. Thanks!

Should be an interesting listen after last week's QQ fest. Schramm, Sacco and the other one spent a good fifteen minutes whining about Ensidia. Fourth-of-July-America-is-great emotions running high, mm?
One thing: There is no pet loyalty anymore, it was removed with patch. 3.0. Feeding (and mend pet glyph) increases happiness which now only effects the pet's damage levels. So no more pets running away ever again, and since we won't be using the worgen for anything but "arm candy" you can let him get as unhappy as you want forever, all it will do is lower his already crap damage.
I managed to tame this guy 3 times. Twice for my hunter (a 2nd one because the tame was so challenging and fun and to test what I could and couldn't do with him, such as let him die, etc.) and the 3rd for my friend who was getting frustrated.
Honestly, what drew me to this pet the most wasn't necessarily his unique skin/model, but the challenging tame. For some reason, freezing traps didn't phase in so he was essentially immune to them, the perfect timing and luck with the trial and error of learning what hp values and cast point of tame beast (for I found it different with every hunter, I was the same level as my friend at 71, but his gear wasn't as good so he had o get him lower because his wyrven didn't tick as hard)
That said, I do like the worgen model. Yes, it's technically a humanoid, but it's just as much technically a beast, as with any half man, half beast creature. May sound kinda hippie but why do we focus on the human part and give it full credit as a humanoid? The beast part is just as a part of it as the human. I would suggest perhaps calling centaurs, dryads, worgen, etc. actual "Hybrids" designation, in which case, there would be no issue with beast vs. humanoid. Although, under that ruling, tauren would be considered hybrids, and so would worgen if they ever brought them in as a playable race, but then the Undead race is techically suppose to be Undead, so I think it would work out anyway.
Great podcast guys. I just started listening to it after coming back to WoW from a 4 year layoff (yes..I said 4 years) and I'm lost like hell but you guys are helping. Thanx.
You just don't get it do you? How can you claim things that are simply wrong... repeatedly... Please read last week's comments about the Ensidia/Exodus issue. These were not people from Ensidia commenting... these were your listeners. And almost EVERYBODY said that your comments about the incident were "a new low" for the show. And I agree. This is not about being "fan" of any guild. This is about holding to a MINIMUM of journalistic standards.
Facts you got wrong: - There never were "sour grapes" from Ensidia.. they congratulated Exodus - There is no proof whatsoever that Ensidia ever cheated - spellstealing is not cheating. the mage you spellstole the naxx-buff was banned for other reasons. - Exodus claimed a legitimate kill and did NOT "come clear" afterwards
I think that Druid should be tamable for a short period of time by hunters. I think it would be a cool little mind control hunters would have and it doesn't really mess anything up with the game since a boss has already done this in Slave Pens. I'm actually surprised hunters haven't gotten this ability already in some form.
The guest on this show was terrible, he seemed to spend the whole show belittling the hosts and trying to plug his poor excuse of a podcast, none of his shows ideas were original and during the intro when the team was discussing what classes he plays it was pretty obvious he would play a ret pally.

Somehow the term "Listener" in your caption brought back the most excellent memory of the Dark Brotherhood faction in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
If you've played it, you know what I'm talkin about.
Epic experience.

'Fans of Ensidia'
What would be the point in being a "fan" of a guild you aren't even in?
