One nice tip is that if u got any twink items or if u see cheap twink items in AH u should maybe buy them cause next patch should raise twink popularity

Good idea. Some people would be amazed how much money you can make off the AH by doing little things in preparation for a patch, just like this. You can nickel and dime your way to a decent profit.

I think the flaw in this plan is that the next patch will allow Twinks to farm their own gear without fear of leveling. So if anything, twink gear might see a plummet in the markets.

items at the "9" level of the monkey , bear, eagle have always sold for a lot. With turning off XP what we might see now is more runs through dungeons being sold for drops, since dungeon runs will be safe to do for twinks. Oddly, would an increase of bop blues worn by twinks dry up the demand for greens of level 9 or increase it?

Nice point. Before trying to hawk some level 19 leather, might be worth checking the loot tables.
That brings up another idea. . . I wonder if twinks who turned off xp will actually contribute to the levelling process by creating more people running SFK, WC, and other low level instances to group with.
