On my server I've seen the titanium ore prices triple and they are still going up. I think all the hype is pushing the prices up. But if you want my secret, I have been running the dailey heroic everyday. In my ulduar gear and a competent group it only takes about 20-30 min to get 5-7 badges plus the 20+ gold for the quest. I've got 300+ badges of heroism saved up. There are 3 OTHER sources of epic gems other than titanium ore. Also, my JC has 50+ tokens saved. I plan on selling all my epic gems first day for tons of gold. Wait about a week for when prices come down drastically. Then get epic gems for my characters. For those that don't know what I'm talking about 20 badges of heroism = 'core' gem red/yellow/blue 10 badges for the 'mixed' purple/orange/green. I think that with the transmute capability that eventually (maybe 4-6 weeks) titanium will be worth a little more than what it was before the ptr notes. WoW economics is basic supply and demand. You want to make a lot of gold? Find out whats in huge demand or what is in short supply.
