For a new profession I would like to see a wood worker or even just a plain "carver", not restricted to wood, that could craft the bows and cross bows some people mentioned along with wands, staffs and maybe some of the entry lvl relics (totems, librams, idols and sigils). Maybe something else to make it a bit more diverse.I once thought about a tattooer profession that would let you place marks in your body as if it were an enchant. Like haste for your main hand, +damage for the off hand, intellect on you head... think of it as enchants for your body. I dont think it could really work though. For secondary profession there are 2 ideas I have. 1st is Brewing: it would be like a mix between Cooking and First aid. You brew some drinks that you can drink in the same manner you apply a bandage to regain quick mana or get some rage or maybe a hit point, if you are damaged while drinking it stops and you get a debuff so you can do it back to back. Add some small buffs like the fishing lagger for casual stuff just for flavor. The 2nd would be something in the lines of camping. This would help while leveling. You are done for the day, why hearth back to a city? set up a tent and get your rested state right in the questing hub you are right now and spare yourself the fly/run back.

Actually, the idea of Camping sounds great. Take about 10 seconds to put up a functional camp site that has a cooldown of about 20 hours. You get a campfire that lets you cook things and, at a higher level, maybe you get a traveling companion that has items to sell. And maybe there can be a Survival expert in every city that allows you to buy an upgraded set for your specific profession. [one that has a vendor of alchemical reagents, one that has an anvil, and whatnot.]And if you want to use it for that rested experience, you just have to log off there...or, for a better method, you have to right click something [like the makeshift bed] and it causes you to gain a buff that gives you the rested exp, but cancels out if you get on a mount, get hit by an enemy or player, or enter a new zone. That way, when you log back in and the camp's despawned hours ago, you would still be able to have gotten that extra experience. The problem lies in how to level up such a skill. Perhaps they could do something crazy like combine First Aid, Cooking, and Fishing into a single, Survivalist profession. Sounds crazy, no? Obviously, because all three professions are together, you can't exactly level them up in the same manner as before. "2 fish for one skill up for the first few levels instead of just 1, first aid bandages are automatically green, and maybe Cooking recipes come in all yellow", or something. With that added, you could also add the Camping idea and maybe a passive buff while alone in the wild. "You are attuned to nature. Your Strength, Agility, Intellect, or Spirit is increased by 30, based on your highest stat."And with that, they could add Camping. And for a fifth use for it, they could allow you to go into the waters nearby and bottle up the water in the lake. And boom, you got a way for mana users to get food AND water without having the need to go to a quest hub that has it.Yes, it's a dream, but still...pretty cool if they could implement something like this.
