There is a particular right of passage for all Mages that dream of raiding end-game content. All serious Mages MUST learn to tank Krosh Firehand during the High Council fight in Gruul's.

Sorry to say, but with TBC raid content now an afterthought, getting a raid together for this great Mage battle will be impossible. But "in the day" this was the fork in the road that seperated THE Mage from a mage.

I miss that fight. I almost always was the mage tank for Krosh in my guild, and it was so fun! Something different, something uniquely MAGE.
