I think it would be weird to have goblins horde-side. I think they look too much like orcs, just, pint size. But Worgens would be pretty cool, especially for alliance. It would be different cause all ally races, including draenei, are "pretty" races, and worgen would be the on the opposite side of the spectrum there. I would possibly roll a worgen, but it depends on what classes they could be. All i can really see is warrior...hunter? I dont really see worgen being a pally or mage or any heavy caster like that. Idk call me crazy.

Um... the only similarities between goblins and orcs in appearance is skin colour and roughly humanoid shape. Trolls look more like goblins than orcs do, and even that's a stretch.Check your eyes.

I don't understand. Look at those masks and tell me that those worgen would be an 'ugly' race. They look darn pretty to me, and much more attractive than the goblin masks do.

Oh, and since when are dwarfs "pretty"? They've got a certain rugged charm, sure...

Notice how i put "pretty" in quotations. Learn to use YOUR eyes. @ MouseBy pretty, i mean smooth skinned, non-rugged looking, that kind of thing. The horde has orcs, that arent "pretty", tauren that are huge furry cows, undead with their bones showing, and trolls, need i say more? Only the BE could be considered "pretty". And the goblins and trolls look absolutely NOTHING alike. How can you say goblins and orcs dont look alike? Only goblins do look a little less rugged, thats it. @ JackTrue, those skins of the worgen are not "ugly", but again, i mean that ally's dont have a rugged, animal-ish race, and thats all the horde is made of. It would be a nice change to have something that has fur for the allys.

Aren't there some worgen mages in SFK? Quite some time since I've been there. And I suppose that if the gilneans turned into worgen (plausible?) the worgen have all their knowledge. And some gilneans were mages and even possibly paladins, so I don't see why not. But ye it would be strange :p

I can see Worgen being 4 classes as of right now:Warriors (There's a given)Hunters (If he/she has a wolf pet are they considered a "pack"?)Shamans (Perhaps a stretch, but it if they go the way of alliance be nice alternative to Spacegoats)Rogues (I would play a fist weapon rogue just to see it in action).... ok, maybe 5, but this one would be faaaar left fieldDruid (Yes, I know, will never happen. Can dream can't I?)

Justin, none of your reply has much to do with what I actually said. In fact, you're using the same word, rugged, I used to describe dwarves repeatedly to describe the Horde races (other than belfs) as to why they're not "pretty" (which was not something I disputed). Yet you make no mention of dwarves, leaving only the implication that you still stand by your claim that all Alliance races are "pretty". You also completely failed to address my refutation of orcs looking like goblins, despite getting annoyed enough about my recommendation to check your eyes.I read your post just fine, but you seem to be having trouble grasping my responses. You really should check your eyes. If there's nothing physically wrong with them, then maybe you should learn some humility and realise you're not as clever as you think you are.

Oh get a room you two. If you'd ask anyone who's never played WoW chances are high they'd vote alliance as the "pretty" people and horde as the "ugly" ones. That's good enough definition to me, no matter personal opinions. But regardless of this you don't know how Blizzard think, so the "prettiness" or "ugliness" of one race could work as a good reason to put it in either faction. The same goes for the goblin similarity to orc (yes there definitely is one, if by similarity you mean they look more like orcs than any other race currently playable in WoW).Getting all worked up over definitons and quotations seems slightly over the top, when all we've got to work with are the screenshots of some masks.

Alliance are the "pretty" faction because they have the races that most resemble humans (making them easier to relate to), and because the races of the Alliance are generally portrayed in fantasy media as being "good". This compared to the Horde which contains orcs (bad), trolls (bad), Forsaken (bad), and Tauren (delicious).

@toddcore"... and Tauren (delicious)."As a Tauren, I approve of this humor.

And arent gnomes just a human pint sized? The horde needed a smaller race they get goblins, the Alliance needed beastly kind of race so they get Worgen, and if worgen can be hunter im going to be begging Blizzard for race changes, not fair that they introduce a new race that i'd have to level all over again just because i prefer the looks so much more instead of just paying a small fee to make my character look like the coolest race ive ever seen in WoW, that could of course be playable.
