Each application has a serial number that comes with it. Write that serial number down (you can access it from the application itself anytime) and keep it. If something happens and you can't access the app you will need that code to get help from Blizz.
When switching phones you can use that code to unlink the authenticator on your old phone from your Battle.net account. **Make sure you unlink the authenticator before deleting the application from you phone! You need the serial number AND the current authenticator number being displayed to unlink it!**
After that you'll need to download a new authenticator (and pay the 99 cents USD) onto your new phone and set it up the same way you set up the old one. This new app on the new phone will have a different serial than the app on your old phone, so it will have to be set up with Battle.net again. Don't forget to write down your new serial number and keep it somewhere safe.
Hope this helps a bit! *^_^*
