WoW Insider Show Episode 99: Delete and start again
Another great show on our podcast last weekend, as we welcomed Eddie "Brigwyn" Carrington (who told us about his strange method of constantly replaying Hunters) and Lesley Smith on with Turpster and I to talk about the biggest news in the last week of Warcraft. We answered your emails as usual, talked about the Worgen/Goblin speculation, how to make more money in the upcoming patch, whether WoW has fallen down in Blizzard's internal priority list, and of course the new Armory app for the iPhone and what it means for Blizzard's mobile app plan in the future. You can tune in to the show at any of the links below, and if you do head over to iTunes, be sure to subscribe and rate or review the show -- every little bit helps.Next week, we're hitting a big anniversary: show number 100 will be on the air at the usual time, 3pm Eastern on Saturday afternoon. We'll be live on video during the show, and I wouldn't be surprised to see some guests or giveaways, as well as a look back at the shows we've done so far. In fact, if you want to let us know your favorite moment on the podcast thus far, feel free to email it to us at theshow@wow.com, and you might hear it read by us next week. Whether it's something from way back during the WoW Radio days or something you've heard recently, send us your favorite moments from the podcast so far.
As always, enjoy the show. We'll see you next week.

Awesome. Came in just as I was leaving work EU-Side, you guys are always entertaining and this'll set me up nicely for my Monday night raid.
Keep up the good work!

Like everyone else said. He's crazy for constantly deleting his toons. I'm with turpster on this one. At least keep the gold to buy bags and such.

While I don't delete my character, I seem to be making alliance paladins on different servers a lot these days.
For me starting on a new server, is pretty much close to deletion except without being able to keep friends, it's amazing the reroll process has really breathed new life into WoW of which I've found for a few months now to be quite stale...

Has someone not heard of print screen or something? That image in the post is a photo of someone's screen...

I love this show, wish I could be there when it's live but it's hard to catch for me. On the part where Mike was talking about how blizzard "really" wants to develop for the iPhone market just sounded like fanboy-ism. If I'm not mistaken didn't they just make the the authenticator available for other phones? So why can't the new armory app get some of it's love passed around to some other phones? Maybe it would have to be a smartphone or something with android on it but it'd be nice if they shared it a little.
Plus they were amazed about the calendar thing but that's what you can do with the armory online through your browser anyways so in-game mail probably wouldn't make it to a phone app before it made it to their site. I say keep an eye out on their armory site for features like in game chat and what not and then maybe that will be making it's way onto the app. Mail doesn't make much sense and the auction house seems unfair. I'd never have to go to a city again to post or buy things and since I'm an engineer I'd just open my box wherever I am in game, raid or not, and pick up stuff.
The chat seems possible though, I don't know about other phone companies but you can text people while logged in on t-mobiles website. That came in handy when I lost my phone and I don't see why blizzard couldn't do something like this for wow. Although you couldn't be logged into the actual client while dong this of course.

Are episodes 90 and earlier still avaialble for download? I've tried downloading episodes 90-85 on 2 different computers and only get the message "...unable to open this Internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot by found. Please try again later." Anyone else getting this?
